Hmm...where did they get the artwork? A fan mockup or leaked somewhere?

Looking forward to it, if it is true.

Would be an excellent choice.

Hi, that's my site.
What I can tell you is the picture is not mockup.

Thanks atsus69...any info on the source of where you obtained the image? It looks like the real deal...maybe even an early version of it? The red lettering for "Rollling Stones Tour of the Americas" can't really be read too well.

I think that I should not clarify where I found it here.
But...that's not a fan's mockup.

The red lettering never was too clear:

"As we say in England, it can get a bit trainspottery"

There are better 1975 choices,

Very exciting if true. I guess it will be 13th July show..?

They can leave out Outta Space and That's Life...

Maybe mix that carnival organ down a bit too.
It's so out of place on songs like Tumbling Dice...and its loud as Ron

Well, the 13th of July was Sunday, so if true to its name should be the 11th show.

I could be wrong but I doubt they'll release that.

Damn, Preston's keyboard destroys Brown Sugar completely.

No better not release this one...

I believe that artwork is rubbish. The photo/poster they used is taken from the internet....I have the exact same one as a wallpaper; same kind of colouring and everything.
The RS-google-vaults never used any direct "web-copies" as artwork previously

that show is a mess and thus I rather doubt that will be the next release....lots of botched cues and too loud @#$%& ups.

Well, they're open to using actual tour posters from that specific tour as the artwork. Like they did with Brussels:

That one is ALSO rubbish! They never released Brussels 1973!

Well, OK, you got a point. I forgot about the frontcover of Brussels 73. Still, it's real easy for anybody to create that "LA Friday" cover, but one never know

Would work for me. There's three shows to mix & match from.

BEST tour poster EVER.....
I have chased it but never owned it...
watched as several got bid up over $200.00 on ebay.

To clarify:

If it's 7/11 (the Friday show), that would not be so good. (Worst show of the tour? Perhaps.)

If it's 7/13 (the Sunday show), I'll look forward to that.

I think there are very few shows from '75 that are consistently better than 7/13, with Fort Collins being a contender, Toronto another, and maybe one of the opening Baton Rouge shows. (??) Memory is fading...but those pop out.

Munichhilton, did you have other shows in mind? And do you think 7/13 is that poor of a choice for '75?

But we'll likely not get those shows given that previous releases have been Hampton and Brussels, which were already on everyone's shelf right next to LA Friday (7/13). My money is on 7/13, and that's okay with me.

LA Friday was actually the Sunday show, according to the Rolling Stones FAQ: [www.faqs.org]

LA Forum 7/11/75; 160 min; 7.5 m; "LA Connection"/ others
Taken from the slightly famous "Hot As Hell" video except this is the complete
show. Soundboard recording with excellent drum sound but the guitars are too
low. This CD is said to be the best release yet of this show. Mediocre
performance IMHO. Apparently this show, on a Friday, was reviewed positively
in Rolling Stone magazine, leading to the misleading "LA Friday" title given
to some 7/13 releases.

LA Forum 7/13/75; 152 min; 9.0 s; "LA Friday"/ others
An extremely good audience recording, even by modern standards. This was
recorded by the people who released it on vinyl as the classic "1975 Tour of
the Americas" 3LP set. Now out on CD in even better quality than the old LPs.
This title is the definitive release, as it includes both Billy Preston songs!
Plus, it sounds a little better than the other CDs too. However, it was not
recorded on a Friday; it was a Sunday, but the title is taken from one of the
old LPs. It was later re-released as "Who Went to Church This Sunday," also
an old LP title. Maybe it's just the recording, but IMHO these are mostly
better performances than sides 1, 2, and 4 of "Love You Live."

Haven't the last two releases had Keef's handwriting on the cover? That's not his handwriting.

That's going to be the next DVD release by Eagle Rock in May/June.

Do you know this or are you speculating? I 100% believe Jagger will never let it see the light of day. Hope I'm wrong though.

Brussels was obviously Keith...but Hampton too? I can't say that looks like Keith's handwriting...

I had the boot called "Charlie Watts and His Rolling Stones" on speckled vinyl back in the 70s. Anyone here remember which LA '75 show that came from? I recall the boot being excellent. My first Stones show was one of the LA 1975 ones, though I can't remember which one.
