johnny depp is too old to play keith even though we know how much he would like to. If they were ever to make a movie about keith I think it should take place before and after the toronto bust. Showing the place he was in his life and his involvement in the band prior to the bust then afterwards and when he finally started to get clean from junk.

The story should be the story of Keith and Anita - two junkies in love. For a documentary about the Stones, just watch a documentary about the Stones.

That should be the name of the movie.... "Two junkies in love"

I am just happy they both are still going..... none the worse for wear (much)

That would make an interesting movie but if they are going to follow the story of LIFE, the interesting part and focus of the book ends when Keith cleans up. Then he just starts bashing his most imposrtant partner, tells us food receipts and stories of having a hangover during a safari. And oh yeah, trying to kill some little kid who had dared to touch his food.

Anything wrong in that?
After the movie has been made, it will be too late to make suggestions and objections.

Erh..trying to kill some little kid who dared to touch his food..What ? Erh..I read the book, but least in the LIFe - book that I read, there was nothing about trying to kill some kid, hmm ? Are you sure about this ?

Lol, but yeah. Unfortunately you're right. Hoswever it would be very difficult to film the whole story. Too much- too long.Probably they would concentrate on a certain time period and that could only be 60's and/or 70's.
Seitan, The story Doxa quotes is about that guy taking Keith' onions. Bit embarrassing to me . .

They could split it like they did Superman The Movie.

Johnny could play 1980's onwards Keith and Justin Bieber could play young Keith.

There are some extremely funny posts in this thread.

The perfect film - or even the subject for an opera - would be if Keith had died when he was still young and good-looking. But real life isn't like that. People survive their dramas (if they're lucky), settle down, get fat, get old, lose their hair. They lose their mojo, get rich anyway, or end up on welfare.

Whitney Houston or Amy Winehouse would be better subjects for a bio-pic.

But Keith and Anita's love story would be very interesting.

Casting call - Russell Brand?...what about Anita? Mmmm...Someone with big gnashing scary teeth...but beautiful. It's a toughie.

Yes, Russell Brand is good. How about Sasha Baron Cohen?

Anita....Siena Miller?

Anita - Emilia Fox maybe?

I would bet 10 bucks right now we see a Whitney movie before we see this Keef movie. I am not being snotty or smartassed, just saying, I had not thought of it, but I bet the Hollywood sleezebags ares already working on her movie.... like they pumped out that MJ movie so quick, and it made a lot of money.

Some dead artist, they make more money after passing away than they did in....

The big question is who will play Freddie Sessler, who had a bigger role in "Life" than Bill Wyman?
