OT: Gov't Mule plays Stevie Winwood's Empty Pages

Nice little number this is. The piano solo guy is fun to watch with those shades and Warren delivers the vocals like I wish Mick would try to do...soulfully. But obviously the dancin and prancin suffers. lol

It's funny seein' these southern white boys playing this get down dancing groove song while basically standing as still as their mic stands. They could use some dancin fools on stage to pump it up cause they do got the fonk.

TURN IT UP and put on your sailin shoes! peace

Love this song. Would have been cool if Clapton/Winwood had included it on their recent tours. They did do "Glad", which is from the same Traffic album, John Barleycorn.

Love that song.
In this rendition it's great moment when the slide solo comes in.

I saw Steve play this at a solo show a few years ago. The couple sitting in front of us, apparently fans of his 1980s solo work, gave each other bewildered looks.
