Loved the interview. Matt L did good. And Keith sounded great. I think he clearly expected ML to go for the "bad" things he had said about Mick in the book. Even when ML said "You said some wonderful things about Mick" Keith gave his trademark chuckle and said "Bring it on" as if he was going to have to deal with Todgergate. But Lauer was set on dwelling on the positive, the real.

Matt Lauer did very well with the interview, knowing Keith and Mick.
They always seem so comfortable with him too, which helps.

Suprised nobody has said this yet but Keith has obviously had a facelift or heavy botox, or both.

There's more than just gleaming new teeth going on there. All that with the spray tan has made him look rather awful to me.

I mean he sounds great and clear and sober. He's not mumbling and slurring any more but I never thought he would go for the cosmetic procedures.

I've never seen the photo of him at 3:10 - it's cute.

I was happy to see, and I don't know if it's the editing here ... but I noticed he's not laughing after everything he says which is nice because sometimes you just want to hear a straight answer. I do that a lot myself and hate it. I've been told it's a way of trying to overcome self-consciousness.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

I came away from this interview convinced that Keith truly does have a deep love for Mick, you could see it in his eyes as he spoke. You could also see considerable pain and regret.

Did you see the banner on the curtain backdrop? That interview must have been at Electric Lady studios in Greenwich Village (built by Jimi Hendrix).

True but why I would call it not good but "nice" interview is the over-all atmosphere, Keith's being focused and not acting drunk/pirate so much, and most of all: Jagger was discussed in kind terms.
