OT: Damon Johnson on Thin Lizzy & Brother Cane

Damon Johnson has been giving a number of interviews lately, and is touring right now with Thin Lizzy.

I got a chance to ask him a few questions about joining Thin Lizzy and a potential Brother Cane reunion this year. Plus, Alice Cooper had to be thrown into the conversation!

Check it out here, if you want:

Thanks!

Agreed. I'd love to catch Brother Cane sometime around. Thanks for posting/conducting the interview. Very cool guy that unfortunately alot don't know about. To be fair, I only learned about him this year. I've know Brother Cane for years but didn't know the names of the guys. Then while listening to a current Alice Cooper show, I looked up each player and saw that Damon was the brain behind Brother Cane. Had alot more respect for Alice's band as its actually made up of good players and not nobodies like I thought.

Thin Lizzy are touring?

Phil Lynott WAS Thin Lizzy.

You didn't like the double guitars?

I think it's good that they keep on playing.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Personally, I'm glad to see Thin Lizzy back on the road.

I can't wait to see Brother Cane live in Flint at the beginning of March...

I saw Thin Lizzy (the real Thin Lizzy) live three times with a varying array of guitarists (Gary Moore one time).

The constant was Phil (and Brian).

Anything else is just a tribute band.

Don't fool yourself.
