Hi CBII

Glad to please ya
A "Special" for your father and you of course
These pictures came from a french book I own ,
of Jean-Marie PERIER called "Mes Années Soixante".
Too bad I don't get a A3 scanner, cos' the pics are very large

For this one above I didn't knew that the Band was part of your family.
It's mentionned Memphis October 1964 in my book

this one was shot in the Ranch of your Father 1964 and is edited (too large)

Saint-Louis 1964

Atlanta October 1964

All shots by Jean-Marie PERIER of course

My Uncle and cousin were not band members. They obviously were used as extra's for the photo. Pictures one and three were taken the same day at BP. My dad owned a camera just like the one in photo three (lends even more to the fact the photo was taken in Wentzville. I don't remember that type of park bench (photo 2) being on the property but there were a bunch of them over the years.

These are priceless photo's of my dad and he will get a kick out of seeing them. My mother will REALLY love them. In fact, my entire family will love them. My Uncle in the photo passed away 15 years ago and this picture may leave a bunch of them speechless.

An outstanding gift from you to him on his birthday. Thanks again.

He seems to be forever young. I saw him not too long ago, & was
blown away at how he is rocking great at his age!

Happy belated Birthday, Chuck Berry! Just wanted to say, I don't read the board very often, and it's amazing that CBII is here. It makes for a really good vibe.

Thanks from this Stones fan for everything your Dad created with Rock N' Roll! God Bless

Saw the show tonight- CBII and his sister rocked! Several times Chuck pulled CB to the front to take the lead, and Ingrid reminded me of a combination between Lisa Fisher and Tina Turner. She's got some pipes, and she blows a mean harp.

Chuck opened with Carol, but it really got goin' when he played Let it Rock. He's getting up there, typical 84 yr old happy go lucky guy, forgot some words, missed some licks, but like a good Stones show, the mistakes were the highlight.

He thought his guitar was out of tune, so he took off the big old Red classic and he strapped on CBII's Fender and it looked so small on him, it was funny. CBII played Bass while the Bass player took Chucks guitar backstage and he tuned it up. It looked like Chuck was questioning the tuning on CB's guitar and CB told him it was good and he started jamming- I thought he played that guitar easier.

During JBG he did the Duck Walk and that was awesome.

Great venue and worth the trip to STL to see him while you can. I should say see them, as the band was tight and they're good. When the Bass player brought Chucks guitar back on stage, they were in the middle of a song and he strapped that puppy on and played some mean licks that made that Fender Amp just purr like a kitten.

I looked over during the show and saw some Stones friends who I'd last seen at a show in Germany, that was a coincidence, but now really, as we both love music and tonight, this was the best concert on the planet.
