Did Charlie ever sang?

Just wondering. Is it known? As far as I know, Charlie never sang with stones, not even on boots or outtakes, not even background. Perhaps with other musicians?

he's credited as a backing vocalist on 'Always suffering' but when asked about it in an AOL fans interview a few months after it came out, he seemed to know nothing about it

He spoke at a show here in Toronto at Massey Hall with his jazz band. It was historic. At the very end, he introduced the band and said thanks. Then he played a drum solo for about a minute.

But, having listened to the song...if you were credited as being associated with it, wouldn't you have the same reaction?

If he claims to not have drummed on it, then we'll know for sure.

At the Olympia in 2003 he took Mick's microphone and said that he would like to sing but that Mick won't let him

Very funny

Charlie does not sing. But he can speak - on stage during shows. That is an excuse for going all over the world to see them live. These great but rare moments when Charlie speaks!

Some times Mick put the microphone up in the face of Charlie during the band presentations, and then, when Charlie says a word, or surprise surprise may be even TWO words, then Mick says: He speaks!

PS. Why on earth should Charlie sing? Does Mick play the drums? Not really...

Charlie sings on the song Laughing In Rhythm featured on the CD ‘Vol Pour Sidney’ a tribute album to Sidney Bechet with two tracks featuring Charlie.

Maybe Charlie was one of the woo-hooers when they recorded SFTD.

He was, and he finally received his credit for backing vocals on the 40 Licks album.

He can be seen reluctantly "woo-wooing" in the One Plus One film.

I guess the vocals on You gotta move are credited to Jagger and Richards but it sure has the feel of a song where everyone is doing it. Downtown Suzie could be mixed too.
