I could be wrong, but didn't bill wyman write in his book that he never saw charlie watss use any kind of drugs. But now sir charles has come out say that he heard the music better "behind a little smoke" along with his use of heroin & cocaine in the 80's? Bill was clueless to this? sounds strange.....

i read bill's book, and don't recall that he ever mentioned charlie did not do drugs.

i think many assumed this over the years, because it was always Brian, Keith, & Mick getting arrested for it.

Stone Alone mostly focuses on the 60's, and if he does't mention Charlie's heroin use in 80's, perhaps Bill choose to let Charlie tell that himself.

It seems Charlie is not too proud of this, maybe it took some time for him to get over it. And when Bill was writing his book it was not the time yet.
