And wasn't that stoop part of the building that Led Zep used for the cover of Physical Graffiti?

Never knew that. Thanks.

I haven't seen all that many concerts but I did see Peter Tosh on tour.

I never thought about that; I have to say it does look like Tosh to me; not as lanky.
That is not Sly and Robbie though.
Another thing I' never noticed is that I have stumbled out of that bar where Keith walks by at 0:15 many times.

--and upstairs you could find Ahmet Ertegun´s (president of the Atlantic Records) office, so there´s Mick and the rastas on Ahmet´s doorsteps...and yeah, the same building is on Led Zep´s album cover..

It's Jagger's and the Rolling Stones endorsement of Reggae music, album named "Bridges to Babylon" is a reference to a reggae term, they've produced reggae, they signed reggae acts to play for their label, Keith Richards wears a Bob Marley shirt on the inside of the B & B album too. they've sung reggae and have thoroughly endorsed it, maybe some people like other bands, other kinds of music or if you don't like information, Why in the world are you on a message board then?

Yet another meaningless fact to clutter my brain.

"Facts are simple and facts are straight, facts are lazy and facts are facts, facts all come from points of view, facts don't do what I want them to, facts just twist the truth around, facts are living turned inside out...."

Or something like that. I haven't played that Talking Heads record in a few years.

Then why go to message boards? Do seian, nico and ab write this in other messages? How rude. What's the hangup? This is a Rolling Stones board, I'm sure you can find a Britney Spears message board for you to write on, sounds more like that's what some people's brains are looking for.

I'm pretty certain it's not Tosh. He was a very tall man, about 6-foot-7.

And my earlier remark was meant entirely in jest. My work colleagues constantly marvel at the meaningless facts that clutter my brain and which I can often spout on command.

This building is on St. Mark's Place in the Lower East Side neighborhood of New York City. The bar they were playing in this video is called the St. Mark's Bar & Grill and was on the corner of St. Mark's and Second Avenue. Not sure if it's still there but the building is.
