Yes, theyre generally the source of the 'Brussels Affair' bootlegs, namely Brussels 1st show and a couple of songs from London 9/9/73.

The new official release comes from BOTH Brussels shows, of course.

Thanks, but this guy (ChrisM) is the real guv'nor when it comes to doing the heavy lifting for tracking down the KBFH sources :

Scroll about two-thirds of the way down for details of each version of the broadcasts from the '73 tour.

I still wonder why doesn't RollingStonesnet.com mention that Mick Taylor played on the Chesterfield Kings 1994 album Stoned on Mick Taylor's '90s studio work? I just wonder. [www.rollingstonesnet.com]

Just so you all know, I am not the ChrisM who put together the great analysis of Stones recordings. Now to the question. It seems to me that ROPENI is asking if the KBFH recording is the same as the release put out recently by the Stones. It does not sound like it, but the estimable Gazz is correct regarding the sources.

Yes, "Brussels" is almost a generic term unless you know the context of its use. It can refer to the actual performances at that location. It can refer to various boots that may or may not have that name in the title. It broadly encompasses any combination of performances from the famous first show, from Wembley on 9/9 and sometimes performances from MSG in '72 depending on which boot you have and the songs thereon. Then you have the source for many of these performances, the KBFH broadcasts, and there were a number of broadcasts over a period of time. It is easy to be confused until you get a grip on it all. Gazza's cite above is the best place to set it all straight.

I have an original pressed KBFH 73 cd with cue sheet that I picked up many years ago, anybody have any idea as to what it's worth?
