some help for one of the ones PalaceRevolution2000 posted:

- YCAGWYW on the David Frost Show, june 16th 1969

do you know who took any of the ones you posted, please and thank you kindly, and/or when/where they were taken?
a few of them are pretty identifiable - the march 71 Top of the Pops set, Sweden 73, etc - but any clues you can offer would be great

oh and the one of Keith asleep or whatever is one of Annie Leibowitz's more charmless moments ... march 1977

These are all fantastic photographs.

ahahah spinning smiley sticking its tongue out I'm just having fun with you guys.

There's this excellent photo (I don't know who the photographer is) that was taken early in their success at a London (Green?) park. What makes the picture so great, is the band is seated facing a mass of photographers but only one has their attention. He must have said something shocking...
It appeared in a nice photo book oh 20 yrs ago.

"This is this one below credited to Dezzo HOFFMAN"

Honestman,
That's a nice pic, but it's not the one I'm referring to.
The one I'm thinking of was taken probably during winter and the band is dressed in more bohemian style clothing/hats.
They are seated on chairs with the many photographers visible in the picture.

that sounds like one of the January 1967 Green Park shots, although i can't recall one with the photographers in it ...
until you said it was winter and they were on chairs i thought i knew the one you mean -
ALO or one of the photographers talked about yelling something rude to get their attention/animate them a bit -
but they were on the grass in that one, and it was a 65-ish sort of timeframe

maybe this is even the moment that the Wanton Witch is referring to -
now all we have to do is locate the one with a bunch of photographers in it

- Green Park january 1967 (don't know who took it, sorry!)

Yes, the photograph is one from that series in Green Park...
