I've enjoyed the last 1 1/2 years in Stonesville.

Let the arguments begin. As a diehard Stones fan, I've really enjoyed the last 18 months. Exile deluxe (Plundered My Soul & Keith vocal on Soul Survivor was all I needed), Ladies & Gentlemen, Life, Some Girls deluxe & Live in Texas '78 out shortly. Ed Sullivan release. Mick has stated in recent interviews to expect more of the same in 2012 for their 50th.

These are exciting times to be a fan. I'd honestly rather have this than a new album and tour. IMO a new album will be mediocre at best and they aren't that good live anymore. Would I buy a new album... yes Would I go to a new tour... yes but these re-issues and finally hitting the vault are a lot more interesting to me. I hope they tour one more time, but I'm totally satisfied with what they've recently been doing.

Let the hate e-mails begin! Don't judge me too harshly.

WHAT?!?!?

Just kidding...agree with most of what you've said. You didn't mention SH, so perhaps you don't like that project. For me, that has been a very nice bonus this year as well. Mick's Grammy performance also a highlight this year.

Didn't enjoy the LIFE read too much but generally, one has to be positive with all the stuff going on.

I would be very ok with a new album, and perhaps one final tour.

The good news is, we can have both going at once.
I think a new Winos project would be really good to hear...so a new Jagger/Richards project would be great too.

All while Cohl goes through the vaults and shows the stuff to Mick...

Yes, a Winos project would be welcome, squeezed into the rest of this.

I didn't know Cohl was involved in the vaults release stuff...is that for sure?

Sorry...I think I meant Was...I have about the same opinion of both of them...
