Went camping for a week and started listening to the audio book of Life. I have the book but couldn't find the time to sit and read. I have to say, a third of the way through up until the group consolidates into the Stones, it's been excellent. Fantastic reading by Johny Depp, giving some 'life' to some memorable moments...chasing blues records, meeting Ian, meeting Mick, school life...I couldn't help thinking that this was the way to get throught the book all along.
On the road as soon as 1 CD ends I can't wait to start the next one.
Now some of the commentaries I've read suggest that it may be all dowhill from year...I hope not...because so far the audio book and the reading by Depp is great...
