gazza never rests. he doesn't pay his research assistants enough, so they quit and he's forced to do all the work himself. it's a 24x7 thing.

Well, Aerosmith (Steven Tyler and Joe Perry) did pretty well, the New York Dolls (David Johansen and Johnny Thunders) not as much (financially at least).

I've hung out with Sylvain Sylvain of the New york Dolls a little, and he joked that the Dolls were the only Jewish band to ever get screwed so badly by the music biz.
