Victor Kahn 26 year old graphic designer in charge of Let It Bleed cover: 'On the back cover the track titles are printed in a different order to the record, but Kahn says this is for aestehtic reasons - I did it that way to get the right and left hand margins perfectly even. Just to show the songs on there, not necessarily the order, because I put the correct order on the inner sleeve.'

Sticky Fingers, Automatic Changer - original title

Original order:
MIDNIGHT RAMBLER
LOVE IN VAIN
LET IT BLEED
MONKEY MAN
GIVE ME SOME SHELTER (GIMME SHELTER)
YOU GOT SOME SILVER NOW (YOU GOT THE SILVER)
SISTER MORPHINE
LOVING CUP
SISTER MORPHINE

Album title features 3 times on the front cover: on the canister, the vinyl LP label and at the top of the sleeve.

(Taken from: ROLLING STONES LET IT BLEED - Sean Egan)

Tracks were originally meant to run continuously i.e. no banding or space between tracks.

Cheers

On the final version of Let It Bleed, "Sister Morphine" and "Loving Cup" were deleted (they would appear proper on the 1971 album that actually was titled Sticky Fingers on release, and 1972's Exile on Main Street, respectively), and two other songs were merely re-titled. Both of these other two songs, in their pre-production forms, had different lead vocals (Keith Richards on "Gimme Shelter" and Mick Jagger on "You Got the Silver"; the roles reversed for the final takes of these two).

And how is "Sister Morphine" twice listed? One being the original version and another an alternate take or reprise?

What about YCAGWYW?
Did they leave it off because it already was a b-side?
