Do any of you buy into this 2012 End Of The World stuff? What will come first, the end or a Rolling Stones live performance?

Funny this comes up now.

I just read the part in Keith's book where he describes those people in San Diego that killed themselves when they thought they were going to rendezvous with a UFO as the world gets destroyed by a comet.

i thought it was ending this month. we've been given a year reprieve?

Remember what it was like leading up to the year 2000? Now we have the same thing with 2012, so maybe the Stones better kick it into high gear and get the show on the road before time runs out on them?

First date of the new tour will be on the Bikini Atoll.

Actually the Worlds End was pretty close in The Stones early days..it was about 10 minutes away.Just up the road a bit from their Chelsea flat..

whoever those experts are, i think the date is actually 12-21-12, the date our solar system crosses the 'equatorial plane' of the milky way. not that i'm following it...really!

Well,the Mayans calendar doesn´t say that world is going to be destroyed,it only says from then on 20.12.2012 world will be different,to one what we´ve used to past 200 years or so.
Anyway,world isn´t going anywhere,we as humans won´t be here after next 500 years
But rest of the world will be and so will nature!

But what comes to mayans prediction,there MIGHT be some truth to it,but its all up to readers and such,,,and everyone makes their own clues whatever they might be.><

I hate this End Of World crap. What are you gonna do? Sit around feeling nerveous about it all your life? And when the world doesn't end in 2012, all the conspiracy theorists will give us the next date and time the world will end.

The suspense is killing me.

I don't believe the world is ending in 2012 any more than I believe the Stones will tour next year.
