thought today's date rang a bell...jeez- time flies, eh?

It was such an anti-climax.
The other two O2 shows were of a higher quality, imo.

i was only at the last gig so cant comment on the standard of the other 2.

i thought the last gig was quite emotional.

Yep, time flies thats for sure.

It was a bit of an anticlimax for me too. The seat I was in for the last show was nowhere near as close to the stage as the first two shows, and i was suffering with a huge hangover after a party the night before (my own fault!). So the evening was a little hazy, but the first time i've ever been at a "last night of the tour" show. Also enjoyed the before and after show get togethers more on the 21st and 23rd.

it was the only show of the 3 that, once inside, i couldn't get a free upgrade.

A great week that was.
Best show on 23rd. We were a bit disappointed
of the setlist on the last show. We saw Wyman
walking through the crowd minutes before the
show and were hoping for a guest spot.

Anyway, the last time I saw the Stones and TMs
and my great mate Salar.

"always thought it would be the last ever."

You will be proven to be wrong about that...

The final show was very anti climactic. I think the band had an end of tour party the night before, and it was like they couldnt wait to get home.

Dont get me wrong, it was still a decent show and they performed well enough. Had it been the only show I'd seen, it would have been enjoyable. Disappointing though that after acknowledging the support they'd got throughout the tour and noting that so many fans had been to so many shows, they then couldnt be bothered to play anything 'special' for the occasion. Mind you, thanks to the generosity of one great soul on here, I got a Rattlesnake Inn pass for the final night, so that was a very special memory indeed.

The first two shows, by comparison, were absolutely superb. Most people seem to prefer the 2nd night, but the 1st one shaded it for me.

Very glad I picked the Pilot Inn for the pre-show bashes. It turned out to be a great venue for all 3 nights (plus the Prince double header on the Friday too). A terrific week in all respects.

Agree completely, it was the lesser of the three by a significant margin
