RS & Make A Wish Foundation

I was reading this story about this HUGE C*ntbag earlier today. Some lady who has a show on the Food Network denied granting a 6 y/o boy with leukemia his wish to meet and have her cook for him. I guess he and his mom watch the show together and it means a lot to them. (if you watch her show, I'd like to ask that you boycott it going forward, just to give her a little taste of her own medicine).
Ina Garten - the Barefoot Contessa.

But it got me wondering if any of the Rolling Stones have been approached by MAW, and if they've granted them. Whatcha think?

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

I read about this. What a bitch. I never cared for her show. Some other celeb chefs stepped up and hooked the kid up.

Unbelievable. Make A Wish is a great organization who have been wonderful to some friends of mine. That bee-otch is off my viewing list. Thanks for the heads-up, Cindy.

That's great! Publicity is an amazing thing, I never heard of any of these 3 chefs until all this crap happened (which I absolutely HOPE isn't the only reason they stepped up)

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

I always thought Ina's show was one of the best on the Food TV network, she is a fantastic cook and well respected within the chef circles. Anthony Bourdain especially admires her talents, but less enthused with her "circle of friends"

But to completely blow off the child's wish for 30 minutes of cooking time really hurts her image. She had an aura of a prude and snob anyways with the uppity socialites of the Hamptons and her fag hag groupies. Too bad she forgot that generosity and compassion is a trait that money and fame list on the mission statement.

Now it has been reported that Ina reconsidered and called the family of the Make A Wish child and offered to cook with the boy but the boy's family declined.

[Make A Wish family declines Ina]

I think we should hear Ina's side of the story before we string her up.

I haven't heard her side of the story, so hate to pass judgement. I have always liked her cooking.
This foundation is great. I worked on a research study the last few years and several of the patients were granted their wishes. Jason Mraz, Jonas Brothers and several pro sports celebrities met their fans and gave them great seats to their events.

The TV show put the heat on the Barefoot Contessa and she will now meet the poor kid. Nice lady, huh? Now let's watch her TV ratings go down.......What goes around comes around.
