Question about two BBC Old Grey Whistle Test videos
Posted by: misterfrias ()

Does anyone know if either of the following two videos have been released on DVD? [EDIT: official or unofficial]

Old Grey Whistle Test, BBC TV
Montreux rehearsals for U.S. tour, May 1972
"If Keith won't come to rehearsals, rehearsals must come to Keith"

Old Grey Whistle Test, BBC TV
October 1974
Keith Richards Interview
"The World's Most Gratuitously Stoned Human Being"

Thanks.

Greetings from the Jersey Shore.

I am asking as I saw them listed in the bibliography of John Perry's "Classic Rock Albums: Exile on Main St."

I have a boot Mick Taylor compilation DVD that has a number of clips on it. Let me see if either is on there.

Not sure what you mean by 'released unofficially'. They both exist and are in widespread circulation, if that helps.

Most of the Montreux rehearsal was included as bonus material on the 'Ladies & Gentlemen' DVD.

The Keith interview from 1974 was included in a Whistle Test compilation which was released officially a few years ago.

Thanks, Gazza. I'll look for those DVDs.
