It's not a duet but You're So Vain is my favourite 'not with the Stones' vocal performance Mick's ever done.

Do you hear him in there, Skip?

HIs harmony in the chorus is very distinctive.....its a great back-up. This was probably the first time that I ever listened to Mick Jagger, unknowingly of course.
I also think Stage of Shock beat the shit out of anything from SHe's the Boss, PC etc...

Surely You're So Vain which isn't really a duet but I always like how Mick is almost all you hear by the 2nd or 3rd chorus on to the end.

Seeing Mick sing Salt of the Earth,in Atlantic City, with Alex Rose gets my vote.
And I'm not even a big GnR fan.

Bowie: Dancing in the Streets

and

Keith: Anyway You Look At It

Re: Best Mick Duet

"You're so Vain" is brilliant. It is Jagger at one of his best. I love when he comes in as a back- up vocalist. because he is always threatening to take over. Behind Ronnie Wood, John Phillips, Peter Wolf - he is pretty strong.
Or even behind Keith in "Happy". When Jagger finally breaks lose in the ad lib at the end, it's like "Whoah!"
I don't like any of his present day duets. Because they are never duets. They are photo ops; terrible stiff vocal performances. I just can not understand why Jagger today completely bows to whoever comes on. He tries to side up to this young vixens instead ogfjust blowing out a vocal and letting them come on to him. He always look very ill at ease. Now e.g. I liked Jack White because HE kind of took over.
