Yet another alleged Rolling Stone crawls out fron the wood work.
How many does that make I wonder ?
Perhaps they should all get together and form 'The EX Rolling Stones', The Greatest Unheard of Rock and Roll band in the World".

It's a pathetic story, I don't believe he was ever in the running for the job as Stones bassist - all a figment of an over fertile imagination. Charlie and Bill didn't come as a duo - rubbish, the bloke doesn't even get his facts right.

No one can beat Pete Best's story though - now that was really tough shit.

A bit harsh on the guy. Its not like he's moaning about being unjustly dumped. He speaks well of the band and doesnt regret missing out on stardom.

I doubt somehow that he went crying to the Daily Mail either. They obviously needed a bit of space filler and were probably disappointed to learn that there was no 'woe is me' story for them to concoct like they did with Mick Taylor.

He sounds like a great guy who didn't say a bad thing about the Stones...
In fact he called them Gentlemen!

Sad for him to have missed being part of the Rolling Stones. He has real class saying that
he could not have handled being a Stone with all its fame and money..
