Now that that's settled let's get down to business.

Which Stone would you rather shag and when?

For me, it'd be Brian in 2010. That way I'm only a degenerate and could still feel secure in my sexuality.

I'd venture a guess that one penalty for being as rich and powerful as they are is they don't GET to have best friends. Just a guess.

Quite frankly, it isn't any of my business who the individual members of the Stones choose as their freinds.

Brian, sadly, never had friends.

Brian never had friends because he was too busy shagging. There's a great story of him and Phil May from The Pretty Things going out on the town with Rudy Nureyev and Judy Garland.

He's the story as told by The Pretty's Phil May.

And then there was May's date with Rudolf Nureyev and Judy Garland. “Our late drummer, Viv Prince, had been trawling London's drinking clubs one afternoon. He'd encountered Judy, had arranged to meet her later and informed me we were on a double date. She walked in with Rudy on her arm. She was in quite a state: she held my hand so tightly her nails cut into my flesh. There was blood.”

Things took a more surreal turn still when the party staggered back to the Pretty Things' Mayfair pad in Chester Street, where they lived with Rolling Stone Brian Jones. The last thing May remembers is Prince (imagine a less stable Keith Moon) and Jones wrestling on the carpet, each attempting to stab the other with a penknife. “If one of them had slipped ...” And what about his date with Nureyev? Did he, as legend has it, um ... ?

“Look, if I'd been to bed with Rudolf Nureyev and I could remember it, I'd certainly tell you.” I believe him, too. The band's lost days and nights must have hindered their progress as much as their attitude.

I think Micks best touring friend would be Bernard Fowler.
That guy bails Mick out of many songs....Rocks Off for instance.

I got the impression that Brian had many friends. Or at least that many people tried to be his friend. He just didn't know how to be a friend to anyone. Friendship requires some level of reciprocity.

Hmmm... I thought Mick was friends with L'Wren? eye rolling smiley
