Good chance and that version is better than the Stones can play it these days.Quote

Once again Springsteen showing that he is a true rocker. Was on the road 9 out of the last 11 years and still showing up in the clubs. The man just can't sit still. Wouldn't be surprised if he is back on the road before the stones. (oh no!)

From a profile angle, Bruce is looking a lot like Fred Flintstone these days.

I strongly doubt that. At any given moment The Stones will do a much much better version.
Exactly. He's having fun. Not trying to make a million dollars. Excellent post.Quote

If it's played good or bad is not the question in this case. Of course it sounds better when the Stones play this song. It is a Stones song!!!
Born to run sounds best when the Boss plays it.
The important thing here is, that Bruce shows his respect to the Stones by playing one of their songs. Going to a small local club and hitting the stage for a few songs is also great. He's giving something back to the place where he started.
And by the way I like this version, because he looks like he's having lots of fun and that's what it should be all about, when you make music.
