Rockman, while you are here....
Ive got a really great recording of Muddy Waters from Molde (in Norway) in 1977, on video. It's black&white, but otherwise excellent quality. The whole show was sent many years ago on TV, but I've only got a re-run of the song "Got My Mojo Workin'". I just wondered if you have seen it, or heard about it? Is it considered a "rarity" or is it common among knowledgeable people like you? I was wondering if I should beg the Norwegian TV, for a copy of the entire show....

Not sure Eric....there are a few Muddy shows from the 70's now available on DVD.
But not sure if that is one of them. There is a doco about Chicago that has been around for years and it has some footage of Muddy doing a blistering I'm A Man...sadly there are only about 2 mins of footage..wild stuff though.

Yeah ring that TV station....now!!!

Great read. I thought the reporter was a bit too nosey, reading quotes and all. However it's always interesting to read things like that. Thanks Rockman!

I ask about the groupie years, presuming he can't remember much about t hem. "I can remember everything," he says carefully. "But I'm not going to talk about them.

That's alright, Mick. The groupies are talking for you. smiling smiley

I wonder, why they always ask so stupid questions and the same ones over and over - groupies, women, knighthood etc...
Is there nothing to talk about with the man, like interviews with Dylan.
nobody ask HIM why did he divorse his wife or refuses his Jewishness.
is it the preconception of the press about Jagger or his unwillingnessto be serious?
