Sorry, I admire your effort though!

So the answers are as follows

Capo at the 3rd fret to get the key on the official recording as on Let It Bleed.

Wild Horses the stdio recording from S.F. has 3 guitars on it, as Keith "layered" the sound.

A 12 string acoustic tuned to Open G

A 6 string acoustic in standard tuning

3rd guitar is a 6 acoustic in "Nashville" tuning
The strings are tuned one octave higher so its considered a "Transposing"
instrument, and notes are written as if the guitar were tuned normally

And Spider and the Fly - the chord progression is

E B7 E B E B7 E B7
with a lazy laid back blues shuffle

O.k. your turn.. lay it on me...

Hum........

Hey Joe is c/g/d/a/ ...the opening is tricky sliding and letting the open string ring on the higher strings.

H.O.S. is in the key of Am?

And I HAVE NO IDEA!!! LOL

Great idea!

Perhaps you should first find out who wants to play, then you will know what you have to work with.

The instrument line-up & song selection would take care of itself.
Perhaps you might wind up with something like this:

what a marvellous clip that was !
the music great, the street picture nice, and the girls dance was fantastic
dunno if i can ever reproduce that kinda entertaining standard ?

my basic lineup idea is .
me playing some mean guitar
my daughter playing base
my son playing drums
keeping it within the family - ...

playing some basic instrumental blues and rock or latin groove.

the advantage for playing for runners running by, is that you only have to practise or prepare one song or groove, that you play for 2 hours, since each runner only hears it for half a minute, and then he is gone.. smiling smiley!

The drummer in my old band in the nineties was a welder, but a total crackhead who couldn't afford a real set of drums (he had a nice set before I ever knew him, but they were long gone by the time I met him). Anyway, he put together a drum set out of a bunch of rusty metal canisters that he found somewhere. He had a real high hat, and a bass drum pedal, and got some real drum heads for the cannisters, then welded the 'snare' and 'toms' to the bass drum somehow, and the finished kit actually sounded pretty good. It was heavy as hell and a bitch to move though...
