You hear from alot of famous people saying how they like their privacy which is fair enough. But if you seen a Stone sitting alone somewhere would you go up to him and say Gi'day..and shake his hand and say a few words maybe..I think I would.Or would you respect their privacy..Or your a bit to shy to?
The Stones most of the time look to be quite approachable and dont mind so much about been approached in situations like that. Its just these photographers working for a magazine or newspapers that make a nuisance of themselves that anyone would become annoyed with after a while.

Depends on the situation.

If we happen to make eye contact, and he looks like he might be up for it, then I would probably approach him.

I would put my self in his/here situation and ask my self, would I like it when I'm sitting alone in my free time and some one comes up to me and want to talk to me (probably about my work) .........I would say No.............but on the other hand if it's Mick, Keith or Charlie......Uhhh yes I think so

My main concern in such a situation would be... "will he tell me to F*** off?"

I'd sign an autograph and give it to him and say, "you welcome".
Maybe they would appreciate this humor....and maybe not.

Edith Grove is spot-on, IMO. It all depends.

And so what if he does?

I'd quite like the anecdote of being able to say, 'Keith Richards told me to @#$%& off'. I'd approach them without hesitation, I did this with Robert Plant and he was fine about it. Let's face it without our money/support they wouldn't be anywhere or anybody!
