OK, so I am trying to copy some tracks from a CD onto my my i-Tunes andI get this message: 'Error occured when converting the file. The disc you are attempting to use is full. Removing files and emptying the Recycle Bin will free up additional space'

Right, so an earth does one locate this 'Recycle Bin' What shall I do?

Recycle bin is system trash... doubt it will free up much space.
it means you don't have enough space on the hard disk - maybe choose another partition?

I mean, you have to buy a new, larger disk, or move your iTunes library elsewhere.

open "My Computer" and check first how much free space is on your hard disk.

Thank you for the advice, Amused. I actualy deleted some Madonna MP3's from my Recycle Bin and it seems to have freed up a little space! thumbs up

With my last computer, when it started to fill up, I bought an external hard drive for my iTunes. After a couple of hiccups, that worked well for me.

Replaced the computer a few months ago and now use the external hard drive as back up. Sounds like your hard drive is full. Defragmenting may buy you a bit more time, but if you want to keep adding to your iTunes you may want to consider an external drive (they're not expensive, either).
