What do you think about the new song?

A Stones-like rocker with a simple, leading riff, but a mediocre variation of that theme. The weakest of the new Ronnie-songs so far.

Wish the album would get released. I LOVE the raw, emotionally unguarded, 'Not For Beginners', with its layered acoustic/electric/slide/pedal steels and standup/electric basses, mandolins etc - reminiscent of the Mercury Rod albums (Gasoline Alley esp) or "Long Player".

That song simply rocks. Catchy for sure.

drag to 35 min in to hear it....

Just realized in the title track and this one Ronnie announces that it's my guitar before the solo which leads me to think he wants to prove he can still play the guitar, especially solos. Just a thought. 63 years old I'd say he' still got some mojo when sober.

I like the 6 new songs more than all on ABB - the boys are on a good way...

That's funny. Blondie & Bernard recorded a song called "I don't think so" a few years ago...

Boy, I don't think so is a very solid rocksong, it grooves, I must admit that I did not expect that Ronnie still was abled to do something like that. The first pleasant surprise from a Stones guitarist in a very long time!

Let us hope that Ronnie Wood stays fine, but if he would not have played lots of great stuff in his show I would be disgusted that played Africa by Toto, one of the worst songs ever recorded!

I saw Ian Dury open for Jimmy Cliff at the Roxy way back when, late '70's, early '80's, who knows? The next table over sat Ronnie and Jo. After Dury's set they went back stage or upstairs, I presume to visit. Ronnie looked like he was having a good time and Jo was cute. Jimmy Cliff, btw, was outstanding. To this day I think of the sound of that performance the best I ever heard. Each song started slowly with that reggae rhythm and ended sounding like a symphony. You could hear each and every instrument and the mix and arrangements were wonderful.

I like radio shows like this. DJ's who have lived the music and have stories to tell.

You know, after a couple of listens, you get flattened by Flea's groove on bass. How can you not. He takes a dump and funk++ comes out. He doesn't even have to try.
Maybe Ronnie picks him up on the west coast part of the tour.

You never knowsmoking smiley
