for my money they were the best of the blues-oriented invasion bands - better than the stones.....burdon is still an amazing blooze singer, too....

LOVE 'em!! But obviously the year The Rolling Stones were voted the "ugliest group in Britain" they didn't see a pic of The Animals!!!

one of the few bands the Stones would publicly respect in the early days, as far as I can tell... brian namechecks them on one of their BBC radio appearances.

the whole of side 2 of The Twain Shall Meet is probably my all-time favorite side of any album. get stoned, crawl into bed, turn out the lights and crank it up.

I like "Love is" very much.But also "Everyone of us" and "Winds of change" are very good albums!
