Kiss Challenge U2 And Rolling Stones To Stadium Duel

This is funny:

Kiss Challenge U2 And Rolling Stones To Stadium Duel

Gene Simmons wants to show them all “what the big boys do”.

In his in-depth chat with Ian Camfield, Gene Simmons challenged U2 and The Rolling Stones to a stadium-off. In a clearly combative mood, Kiss’s God Of Thunder wanted to show Bono, Jagger et al how to rock an enormodome.

“I would love to play on the same stage as U2, The Stones and anybody out there who considers themself a world champion.

“You come on up on that stage with us baby. Show me what you got, and then we’ll show you what the big boys do”.

Could be a reality show:

Just have Ron Wood go behind enemy lines and disarm Kiss's pyrotechnics and light
show....and they will soon be eliminated...

Simon Cowell comments, "you know, Kiss, without all the flash? you guys suck. It's a no."

Kiss is the same sentence as The Rolling Stones and U2 is kind of funny.

If Rolling Stones are a "Vegas Act", then how should Kiss be rated???

What they've both 'got' is songs.

Methinks the 'big boys' are sounding like desperate attention whores and might just end up shitting their pants.

Will KISS have their little costumes on? Less talent necessitates more gimmickry.

If Kiss gets on stage without any explosion every 10 seconds...
the public will understand that their music is just like a loud fart.

The Kiss joke is well past its sell by date, does anybody really like their music? I remember wanting to see them when I was 13 because of the blood spitting and the exploding guitar but by 15 I thought they were just for kids.

Gene sure knows how to pull them publicity stunts alright. Our boys might as well bring out the lotus stage again and also the giant inflatable penis....

Isn't there an actual mini-KISS band out there somewhere? They can challenge each other.

Were the Stones bobbleheads, which I've never seen, ha ha, actually put out by the band?

Its an old trick.
The crappy forgotten abouts challenge the thriving talent machines in order to be in the same sentence.

Keep
It
Simple
Simmons

anything else will confuse you....look! Something shiny!!!

In order of preference ,I would like to see :
first ,Mick (in big stadiums or not )
Then Paul Stanley ( sorry ,but I had a crush on Stanley when I bought his 1st solo album in the late 70's ..... EG, can you ever forgive me ? :-)
And well, Bono will be my "3d choice."

The bad thing is that the next ticket I get is for U2 .
Kiss...I don't know ,and the Stones, I am still wondering when ....

That's too bad !

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

Stones are on the top
AC/DC is VERY energetic ( or was ?)
KISS give their fans a REAL show
Iron Maiden, Metallica, Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen know how to handle a crowd

Bono and U2 are bad performers compared the ones I mentionned before

That's because Kiss does'nt have any vaults to mine. If they're really so good, take off the makeup. Drop the pyro and just play....And stop firing the couple of decent band members they had in the first place.
