Aren't there little Kiss action figures and dolls?

Well.....

who would have thunk it that the glimmers sell dolls just like KISS does .

I have both of these - now what I want to know is if there are dolls of Bill, Ronnie, Charlie, and Mick T in existence????

And I'd have to say, based on the limited on-air exposure I've watched of the snooze fest that would most likely be a U2 concert for me, I'm guessing that Kiss could easily kick their @ss live! Not even close to the Stones though...

Were the Stones bobbleheads, which I've never seen, ha ha, actually put out by the band?

Yeah, skip, it's true. I've got Keith and Ronnie!

I'd pay good money to see these 3 bands together.

I've seen all 3 and they all put on a good (if very different from each other) type of show. Enjoyed all - would love to see all again!

Elmo's rankings:

1. Stones
2. U2
3. KISS

the public will understand that their music is just like a loud fart.

TooTough, You're actually comparing KISS to a loud fart? Dude, you're giving the band MUCH TOO MUCH credit....that's to say that a Loud Fart takes much more talent than that group of tone deaf circus freaks ever had on their best day. I'd say they suck sh*t but that's being much too kind. Gene and Paul, just please crawl and slither away with your talentless friends (other 2 band members)..... Thanks...

As a fan, the main advantage to prefer Kiss to the Stones is that in 50 years or so, one would not have noticed Brian Jones firing, Taylor quitting and Wood coming

Because they have such a heavy make up crust, we would not have realized the changing in the line up

Kiss is an awful band. Souless music. I never have considered them a serious rock'n'roll band, perhaps I'm wrong, but thats my point of view.
Never considered Kiss to be in the same league as our beloved band.

MSG 2008- I saw pearl jam perform and late in the show they brought Ace Freley out (of mothballs) for a song called Black Diamond.
It was fun, had no idea what it was . . .

Kiss has about a handful of songs that even rise to the level of mediocrity. They're awful.

Maybe KISS and The Stones could battle it out with competing versions of 2000 Man.

I need to interject with my two oars worth. I have seen KISS several times live over the years and have experienced them to deliver a scintillating rock n' roll show. I just saw them blast the roof of a tiny club (800 capacity) in London (O2 Islington Academy) a few weeks back, with a stripped down stage set and it was pure, high octane rock n’ roll of the highest calibre. It proved KISS do not need colossal stadium sized stage sets and pyrotechnic productions to entertain and thrill.

Sure their songs (the most famous ones from the early era), could be construed as derivative of the Rolling Stones and many other musical influences, but I doubt KISS would deny that. Regardless of that they have shaped their influences to produce their own unique blend of classic rock music, resplendent with killer riffs laced with liberal doses of pop hooks melodies.

Cheers,
Sonic D

hey gene when that band that you are in gets in the hall of fame then you can talk smack , until then keep it shut boy, btw with all the kiss lineup changes there are gonna be more people on stage then there will be in the audience

thats a ridiculous argument. we all know the HOF has a hate on for hard rock/metal and always has. list of bands not in the HOF but are eligible are:

cheap trick
rush
deep purple
alice cooper
judas priest
iron maiden
motorhead
stevie ray vaughan
yes

are none of those people better musicians than the stones? i believe just the guys rush and yes play circles around the stones and lets not even start about the godlike talent of SRV. also cheap trick is so underrated not even the HOF sees how great they are.

official members of the rolling stones= at least 6
official members of KISS= 10

not a huge difference considering eric carr died in the early 90's so he had to be replaced due to death and mark st john got an injury after 1 album that prevented him from playing guitar so subtract the 2 people replaced for health reasons and thats only 8 members
