I dont know about downloading it, but......
I grabbed the whole movie off of DTV a couple of weeks ago.

We use DirecTV in the States and there is a
channel on there called "Palladia" which shows
a lot of older stuff in High Def.

Contary to what most folks here think of this movie, I like it a lot,
and seeing it in High Def is awesome. They have perfected how to convert
old footage to great looking HD. This is a keeper on the DVR.

I had also grabbed it 6 month ago in Standard def, and kept that
until this came on in HD, it is a guilty pleasure.

I dont own any equipment to copy HD stuff.

We skipped HD-DVD and now we are skipping
over the Blu ray HD technology. What a bunch of
marketing hogwash. I may need 5 types of "Exile"
( 8 track, LP, cassette, CD, and this next version )
but I dont need another disc of ANY (nonStones) movie,
when HD on DirecTV works so well, plus.......

I am betting delivering and playing of HD content
will soon have nothing to do with discs. I am betting
that soon you will simply take a small memory device to
your rental location and they/you will load movies
onto the device ( maybe with a set expiration date )
and you will simply plug it into a compatable TV/ player.

OR
Maybe it will just be that we have to use our satelite dish
to "download it" from the sky in to the DVR, OR maybe they
will speed up delivery of the internet where HD can come across
fast enough to be worth the trouble ....... but I am thinking that
discs are dead. I own 14 billion DVDs and CDs that are in piles,
and stacks and boxes, not to mention 2 trillion VHS tapes.....I am
over it..........we am NOT going to do that that with HD stuff.

No I have no way to copy it,
but you might want to find/watch this Palladia channel,
HD rock and roll is awesome. We were just watching the "London Calling" concert
in HD the other night and Neil and Bruce and the rest looked great and
sounded better.
