Peter Green wasn't just a guy who was in Fleetwood Mac, he founded the band and was considered the best blues guitarist in England during the late '60s. B.B King said of him (paraphrasing here) that Clapton and others of his ilk were good, but Peter was the only one who made him sweat. Listen to his performance of "Need Your Love So Bad" from Live at the LA Shrine, this amongst many superlative performances, and perhaps you will see the what I mean. Regrettably he did disappear for a time due to mental illness and his playing is not what it once was, but to my ears he remains one of the best guitarists of all time...Quote

Big Al Although both versions are excellent Green's is more favorable because his style reminds me of Jim Thackery (Nighthawks). Not even sure if he is still around. Hopefully so...
