Today in swedish newspaper "Aftonbladet" there was an article about Rolling Stones doing a new world tour in 2010, according to Ron woods girlfriend. They didnt seem happy about it that she had told everyone, but at least its fantastic news!!!

Er. It's the sun, take it with a grain of salt. Make that a whole handful of salt actually. 2 thoughts ran through my mind as I read that scant article: 1. I hope they DO tour, and 2. does that girl not find it a little bit creepy getting it on with this old dude?

I know it's The Sun - but on other hand, then we have the rumours runnig until the tour starts )

These guys aren't the retiree types, i have no doubt this is much more than a rumor, there's no logical reason to think it's not true...

of course there is something true, but i really hope there will be a new album too.. touring without new album would be very disappointing to me..

Hard to say which is less reliable 'kat' or 'The Sun'......

I love how it's 'official' now when Kat says it, but was evidently still 'unofficial' when Keith, Woody and Charlie all said it at various times over the last few months.

Funny how the Sun reckons the band wont be pleased she's mentioned it (and it doesnt even say who she mentioned it TO!), considering most of them have been saying something similar for months!

we all know the 2010 tour is coming anyway, posting it is nothing groundbreaking,i predicted a 2010 tour over a year ago as did many others on this forum, the more shocking news would be if they dont tour in 2010

Maybe she has a good deep russian voice - who knows.

I am from Europe, but I don´t know if I have the money to see them next year, I hope they tour Europe 2011.

a friend of a taxi driver told me that the stoens were going to tour in 2010.

so it must be true.

in fact everybody says the stones will tour in 2010.

except the stones themeselves.

If you are on IORR you would known this for a long time. And they have done quite a bit of studio time already.

Now these are great news!

All this horseshit excitement about a 2010 tour .... really ! The only things that are scheduled to take place in 2010 are a picnic in the south of France for Mick and his children, and a blazing row between Sir Ron and the Russki. That's it ! Right then, we can all now go back to sleep !

has anybody any real evidence the stones have done a bit of studio time.


everybody seems to think there is going to be a 2010 tour, great if it happens but i wont believe it unless i hear something official.
