The Stones do Motown

The only ones that come to mind are Ain't Too Proud to Beg, Money, and My Girl. Have they covered any other Motown classics?
and, which tune from Motown would you like to see them do?
The Tracks Of My Tears is one of my favourites. I can kinda see Keith singing that.

On tour they should do Chicago or St. Louis again.

like to see them do: Ball Of Confusion by the Temptations

one verse goes like this:

"
Fear in the air, tension everywhere.
Unemployment rising fast, the Beatles new record's a gas.
Dennis:
And the only safe place to live is on an Indian reservation.
Melvin:
And the band played on.

Surprised the Stones haven't done Papa Was A Rolling Stone.

They also covered Love Train, although would that be considered Motown?

I loved the original Motown stuff.
Up to the 70's the Stones made some nice covers.

But the way they do those new live renditions which anyway is more like Philly sound I could really do without!

Love train, etc is bland, fluffy Vegas style! I found it embarrassing!

they threw a few chords of 'Papa was a Rolling Stone' into 'Out of Control'

'Love Train'(by the O'Jays) isnt a Motown song. Gamble & Huff wrote it, who were 'house' writers for the Philadelphia International label.

I've Been Loving You Too Long isn't a Motown song. It was written by Otis Redding and Jerry Butler and was released on the Volt/Atco label...

On the Voodoo Lounge Tour they irregularly played 'I Can't Get Next To You', admittedly using an Al Green style arrangement but I believe it was actually a Temptations song.........

compliment to his My Guy by Mary Well's from earlier in the year of 1964
