Big Al
I struggle to survive a week without a beer, let alone 60 friggin' days!
One beer a week Al? Man, that's what I call a low tolerance.
Oh, ha, ha, ha!
Make that, 15 pints
My freind pulled out on Tuesday, another says he wasnts to leave it 'till Saturday and I'm just gasping for a pint!

the ronnie-bashing happens purely for a selfish reason. some people have this wild fantasy that if somehow ronnie left the band the stones would be a proper band again and will tour the world and you'll get to be entertained for one night and everything will be alright in your life. stupid. as if ronnie is the obstacle, blocking any sort of success for those young chaps! without ronnie they'll be the toppermost of the poppermost! riiiiight.
And some people defend Ron Wood's idiotic behavior and crappy musicianship regardless of how poorly it affects the band (and him).
I can tell you why most people here engage in what you call "Ronnie-bashing": We think he is a musician who (with a few exceptions) has been a poor influence on the Rolling Stones, who has not grown or evolved in his role, and who compares poorly with the standards that came before he joined, both on records and onstage. Now, you may not agree with that but it is time you accept that these are legitimate criticisms from thoughtful people, and stop trying to find conspiracy theories to explain why others don't have the exalted opinion of Wood's contribution to the Stones that you do.
Hard to understand why you almost use every opportunity to bash him.
Your image of the Stones is reduced to the period of 69-74,that´s it.
It´s my favourite as well.
I don´t need any "conspiracy theories" to explain anything of your usual
rant...
"I can tell you why most people here..." tells everything !
What would you think about someone posting in almost every Taylor related
thread ( or at all ) how he failed, the traitor theory,etc...?
Sorry, short, you're just wrong. Yes, that's my favorite period of the Stones, but I also love '63-'68, and even '78-'81 (with Ronnie). I was responding to someone who claimed there were "Ronnie-haters" who wanted him out of the band, which I I reject. That's all.
