Yeah Potted, it does. I always thought that that part was cool. Very rockin' tune IMO and would love to hear them play it one of these days. Maybe on the B-stage.

not really - just thought the plane carrying Holly, the Big Bopper and Richie Valens was indeed Flight 505. And that the lyrics are clearly about a plane crash.

But also: the first Stones trip to the US in 1964 was on flight 505 (Bill is the source on this one)
