Can someone conform wether or not Mick Taylor plays on Little Feat's Dixie Chicken album. Some sources claim he does.

I don't think so, but he played with them in 1977.

Taylor is pretty big, so I guess his feet are the skinny part.

Correct...and on the Mobile Fidelity LP version, there is a different version from the other show.

Isn't the song omitted on the CD version?

On later CD-reissues of Waiting For Columbus Apolitical Blues is included.

I'd say about 175, like most of the Stones.
Stood close to the man in dec 2005.
I'd also recommend to ask erikjjf, who
probably met the man some 8-9-10 times or more.

Thanks for the link, erik.
I'd say he has shrunk since he got measured in 2005.
I'm 178 & he sure werent taller than me.
Still; I reckon I underestimated his length somewhat, so I will edit above.

If I said 5'10" I think I'd be pretty close. Perhaps taller but not by much. He still has a full head of hair that makes him look a bit taller than he is.

Lowell George played slide on Giddy Up from Taylor's debut s/t '79 album. That's the album Taylor did nothing to promote until late '86. But it's a nice instrumental that Taylor has used for his melodic explorations over the years.

Speakin' of Feat.. I reckon some of the figures in the RSFCO link are dubious.
I have the best experiences of RSFCO and their people;
but when transferin' from Ft. & Inches to cm; it says Wyman is 175,3 cm
which I doubt. He cant be much over 170 cm.

I'm always wondering about their height too.
They are not very tall and look even smaller these days.

But funnily enough I had met them on the 73/76 Euro tours and stood next to Keith more than one time. He seemed to be my height then which was ca.179 cm.
Perhaps it was due to those boots. But I think I wore them too.
Kinda strange . .

Bit it is edited! Check out the youtube clip of the same performance of 'Apolitical Blues' and it is at least 1 minute longer.

I think those heigts are off on that link, no way brian and bill are 5 foot 9, they are much shorter than that, even jagger is listed a bit taller than he really looks, he is no more than 5 foot 9 IMO
