Right on all counts Schillid. But still cool seing Keef upright and looking well. A lot of his peers can't say that these days.Quote

Has Keith ever sat down a tv talk show style interview before this? I really enjoyed it ... even if the interviewer acted like a gushing fanboy.
He was sober and lucid, which is a good thing.
... hearing Keith talk about his guitar playing having gotten "rusty" as he glanced down at his 67 year old arthritic fingers, before looking over at the band and telling them not to invite him onstage to play.
25 or 30 years ago, there would have been NO WAY to have kept Keith off that stage

Also - i forgot how they messed up talking about how he likes the Beggars Banquet cover, but he's actually describing the Let It Bleed cover. I don't know if Jimmy knew or if he was just going with it - I would have been like "YOU IDIOT!!" But that's just the way I am!
He said he quit doing coke after he fell out of the tree. It would conflict with the medicine the doctors gave him.Quote

He had a lot of tug and sniff action going on in the beginning of the interview. The allergy season? Maybe.

Whilst it was good to see Keith in fine form, what a load of tosh in every-other regard. Talk about cheap television. I cannot stand that banal whooping and yelping that audience members insist on doing. It would have been nice to see Keith appear on a more reserved programme. I don’t watch U.S. chat shows of any kind, but wouldn’t Letterman or whoever else have been better?
