When the name The Rolling Stones is mentioned the heart beat of a hardcore Stones fan increase significantly. That is my own experience of hardcore fans. People who care. People who feel the groove. People who do love the band, their music, and they do love to be near the camp fire, just like a dog like to be near others. The group. That is what we are talking about. Those who do know what Sway and Tell Me and Out Of Control are all about. We don't need to check out on Internet what this is all about. We have it in the backbone.

Speaking for myself only, I define a hard core Stones fan as someone who recognizes that their life has been enhanced by listening to their music, following the evolution of the band and taking pleasure in learning the details of their story which is still unfolding, thankfully. It's the feeling of joy and excitement when you first unwrap their new cd, the anticipation is not explanable unless you're a hard core!! I feel an even greater excitement when at their concerts the lights go out and you know the Stones are just about set to burst onto the stage...sometimes I like that better than the actual show! As Bjornulf said, it's something you feel inside and your pulse does quicken. You either have that feeling or you don't. I am thankful that this band has enriched my life in so many ways and that I've been able to derive such pleasure from them. It's funny, but it's the way Mick and Keith felt about the old bluesmen they listened to in the late 50's and early 60's....it reminds me of that mythical meeting that Mick and Keith had at the train station so long ago when Keith noticed Mick had some great lps with him! They were truly jazzed, like I have been over the years. EXILE really rocked my world, not that Beggar's Banquet and Sticky Fingers, Aftermath, Flowers and Between The Buttons didn't. I guess we all have moments that you can pinpoint and say, " Man, I was knocked out by that one!".

800 bootlegs , every original record + some LP's, a keith richards pick ,lots of posters and t-shirts , went from Mexico to London just to see them if it was their last gig ever , amazing shit created by the stones even if they have no guitar gods on the band , they've created the music i love the most and every song means a lot to me in the teenager years i'm living now.
I love the band because they're the best example of a music band and they are .......................................................................................... you know what to write there , the stones are amazing!!!!!

Is it just a euphemism for telling T&A off? Why are you making a personal attack against this person? I don't get it . . . or are you coming to the rescue of the song Streets of Love? Perhaps T&A hurt the song's feelings? Perhaps the glimmer twins were hurt? Perhaps your feelings were hurt, because you like the song and you want everyone else to like it?

I don't want to hurt or offend anyone, but i agree with T&A, that song sucks. Its awful.

We are all stones nuts here, but if we can't criticize the band, then who can? Don't tell me you are one of those people who thinks everything the stones do is great? If so, lord help you, and if not, then why the personal attack because someone dislikes a song?
