no expectations one of the saddest most beautiful love songs ever; amazing sounds and emotions on that production...a perfectly good country song.
glad someone mentioned 'i got the blues' also one of my faves but u don't hear about it much; guess they never bothered w it live...cept for that club show where mick wears half a metal shirt. jeesh... again a magnificent performance on record. kinda the soul of sf in a way. gorgeous man.... mick should get more credit as a producer of horn sections...on exile too... ! ! ! ! ! etc.. come to think of it...he listened to those otis records (and others) dang hard...he's a wonder boy that mick....
third? i dunno...mebbe keith again with wild horses...hackneyed by now, but once again imo perfectly lovely timeless songwriting w master touches all over the place... and that gorgeous taylor/richards thing...
i have to think about third choice. they have so many. stoopid to keep saying but their catalog of songs just amazes me amazes me....continually... always finding and re-finding perfect little tracks i hadn't thought of in a while.... ah, the rolling stones...
course i'm wanting to include 'all sold out' from buttons as the perfect love song but...i'm holding my tongue.
