300 Beds Book Lol.

There were around 300 people at the show last night at Ole Bull Scene in Bergen Norway. They performed from 7pm until 9:15pm with a break. And it rained from I landed in Bergen in the afternoon of the show day until 24 hours later, as usual. First set was Charlie, Ben and Dave, second set was Axel with the B&D with Ben joining in eventually. Great show, but I would not mind some guest vocalists like they had in UK last year!

Terrible that I missed the show, but the security line at the airport moved really slowly, and I heard my name being called over the loudspeakers and that gates closed just as I opened my bag for inspection. I learned a lesson - try to leave work a little early! I had paid for tickets, air fare and a hotel. Not getting a cent back. My fault entirely.
Anyway - found this clip and enjoyed it very much. Glad you do too.
But I suppose a guest on lead vocals would have been marvellous. Mick, for instance. He boogie woogied with Stu back in the old days, too...

I'll just echo my thanks too for posting that.
It's just amazing that here's Charlie who has played for tens of thousands
gets so much enjoyement from playing a small room
and it's just so darn humble and a truly nice chap.

Yes, Charlie is a very humble character. And he simply loves playing. He loves being on tour, actually. And it shows! He walks around with a big smile, clearly enjoying what he's doing, and if someone accuses him of doing this for the money... They didn't even get the VIP GOLD treatment while in Bergen. Just ordinary musicians playing a very small club. And Charlie's very happy with that. Now, try imagining another band member... Or - DON*T!
