I just wanted to let you know that my 5 week old daughter Jade died a few days ago in her sleep. Some of you will remember I had put photos on the board a few years ago of my son Mick. Keith had personally written and signed them when he was in hospital here in New Zealand.I had also posted when we had decided on the name of Jade before she was born.
Jade was a beautiful black haired princess just like her mother. We are both heartbroken at the moment. Our wee boy without realising it is giving us the strength to get through each day.
Not one of the stones most well known songs but their 'My Girl" version was the opening song played at her funeral. A wee white top with the stones pink tongue which I had made for her was worn before our last goodbye. The stones music has bought me happiness and strength for over 30 years. I find myself getting even more from it during this time. I got the blues is one that was cranked up in the car today and wild horses.
Just wanted to let the stones family know about our little angel. I would put a photo on but I am unsure how to do it.
Thanks
Brendon Pearson from New Zealand, husband to Sali and father of Mick who turned 3 yesterday.
I am sending you lots of well wishes & caring thoughts to both you and your family.
I hope I am not mistaken in saying that it only seemed like a couple of months ago we were having a few guesses on here for your daughters name? Sorry if I am wrong but I am sure I guessed Jade.
This loss of yours leaves me with an empty heart today.
I also lost a really great uncle yesterday & have been sad.
This news has made me double sad today.
God bless & hope all the best for your family in the coming days, weeks & months.
And may the Stones help you & strengthen you through these times also.
masoudi, I have 3 little ones and I know you're hurting.
If only Jade could have stayed around to grow up and see and do things here. But please, please take strength from the truth of what Munichhilton said above: she's in a very good place now.
Hopefully we'll all see her there when our time comes; if so, I'm sure she'll teach us a thing or two!
