Neither Bro ...Probably not on the Tube

Elmore's first record was Dust My Broom 5 August 1951 with
Sonny Boy II (Rice Miller) on harp....Can't miss Sonny Boy harp on intro

Released on Mrs McMurry's Trumpet label with B-side
Catfish Blues really by Bobo Thomas ....Although it was credited Elmore James

I had a version on vinyl called best of British Blues with a version by Page and/or Clapton (mid to late 60's)...haven't seen it in years, anyone have clarification on this?

How it all began for the old Baboon.. back in 1979 somewhere
my town was full av punk, rock n' roll and blues.. The latter
mainly belched & pounded out by Hjalmar King's Blues Band [web.telia.com]
Alas I couldnt find their version of DMB; But I will keep on searchin'..

The more I think about it, the version I am trying to locate comes from an English release with a picture of a girl on the cover, British Blues was in the Title and the record featured Cyril Davies and the All Stars and other Various Artists which included Mayal, Clapton, Page & Korner, maybe even Green. There were at least 2 volumes and some of the artists may have varied per album. Anyone remember this? Didn't see it on Ebay or Amazon.

I had both of them, but I think that volume 2 originally (not sure) had the same cover as volume 1.

OK, Volume one, Tribute to Elmore by Clapton is basically an instrumental version of Dust My Broom
