batonrouge75..That concert at Zilker Park what sort of money would of those people of paid behind and above the stage.Im not sure if i would like to be up like that you may get a good veiw but ya would be looking down on them from behind. Were they corporate boxs or something.

Those seats were available to the public at $650 per seat.

Outrageous amount of money for practically looking straight down on the stage.

They did not continue this with the Euro leg of the tour, did they?

Edith Grove..yea I liked that whole design and everything about that stage the lighting the lot.But if I was up there I would sort of feel left out looking down on a concert like that.I dont how many times they used that design on that tour.they didnt use it here.Yea $650- that probadly included drinks etc. laid on for them I would say but even still that seens alot of money for seats like that.To think I only paid about 80 pounds and was a few rows left of the stage.smoking smiley

The 'onstage seating' (which were actually 'above stage standing with restricted view') tickets were $250 and $75 (I think) on the first part of the US tour in 2005-06. It was only when they went back there later in the tour that they decided to hike them up to the prices mentioned above.

They didnt bother with them in Europe in 2007. They did use it on the 2006 leg, but in their infinite wisdom charged something like £300 for the UK tickets (way in excess of the top prices for the audience which were an already excessive £150) and only put them on sale a few weeks before the gigs - by which time obviously anyone who would have been keen enough to buy them would have already bought 'regular' concert tickets. Not surprisingly, demand was almost non-existent and a lot of them ended up being given away in radio contests, etc.

Some of the promotional and ticket-selling gimmicks on the last tour were really badly conceived and executed.

I'm from peaceful, quiet, undisturbed Twickenham - at least until they re-open Heathrow, when I'll need to get out the earplugs.

There's only one Voorschoten in the world, unless I'm very mistaken.
So, no.
