Studio version. Keith's fast single note lines (all over the place). How does he get THAT very percussive sound?

Slap back.

Slap back.

Thank you. Yes, slap back, that makes sense. I hardly ever use effects. I bought a cheap Ibanez delay years ago and never used. So, how would I obtain a similar effect?

Plus, I assume it is not only downstrokes. Wrist or arm?
Little palm muting? Think so!

Some muting most likely with the hand in whatever manner. From what little I've screwed around with it, it seems to aid that style of playing, if that makes sense. You work with it, not necessarily let it do the work.

C

Set a delay to about 100 ms, set the slapback signal (wet) output same as the dry signal.
then get used to play only half of what your hearing.
it's fun.

So if its only half of the notes that are actually played, could it be only downstrokes and palm mute?

Get her a fan or an air conditioner.

hope this will help....if she was hot and isn't anymore (we need more info but here is a broad list of helpful things) you could first put her on a good diet and work out program. Also take her out to get her hair done, nails ect...and if all else fails then you can always fall back on the reliable paper bag over the head, and close your eyes and pretend....
