I came across the original (US pressing) 45 advertised on ebay some while ago...the current bid was $0.88 !
One of the first Mick and Keith compositions.
The publishing is credited to Little A Music / Pitfield Music.
admin. by Unichappel.
Pitfield must have a Pitney connection. It was produced early 1964, so after the Southern Music Publishing tie up had been ditched but just before ALO signed up with David Platz which led to the creation of Mirage Music. Of course in due course all publishing became part of the ABKCO set up.
Does anyone know how the single did chart wise?
Did Pitney sing it live much and has it appeard on any greatest hits packages?

It entered the U.K. charts on 5th March 1964, & reached a top position of number 7.
