Exile deluxe- Why not, "I don't kno the reason why"?

"I don't know the reason why". One of the best blues stuff ever recorded by the Stones! The band is really tight, just like on the jam on "Can't you hear me knocking". This is 11,15 minutes of Stones at it's best, but why not on the Exile deluxe release?

Yep, best blues jam ever, maybe they're saving it for some other releases.

Great song! And one of my favorite unreleased. I am baffled why they didn't include this on the bonus disc, it is a tour de force of blues by the Stones. And MT is playing some great leads on it. Cool vocals as well. RELEASE IT!

I love Bobby Keys sax playing on this, too. The parts where he plays the same basic riff as the bass.

Brilliant track, should have been used for any of the big four albums

Is this not an ABCKO song?

Maybe because it's "Hillside Blues" from 1968?

It seems to have been started at the same time as All Down The Line. So it certainly could have been included on the extra disc from Exile. The fact that it's ABKCO Music means nothing. Similar as to how Bill Plummer plays bass on I'm Going Down, the same sessions that gave us another take of All Down The Line as well as Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Shake Your Hips, Stop Breaking Down, another take of Shine A Light and Sweet Virginia - all recorded for Sticky Fingers in June and July of 1970 - all ABKCO Music.
