Dude, you have some cool stuff and a good space that has a lot of potential....but if you want to have a mature place with style, you need a little make-over, to change it from a frat room to a suave man cave...
Paint some of those walls! Deep red, saffron, paint one main wall a nice dark color then another wall, a different complementary lighter color.
Get a large mirror, ditch the girl poster, looks like a frat room. Chicks will dig the mirror and it will add depth to the room.
Get some green! A few plants.
Minimize the rock art. Pick a few of your best pieces and frame then well. For example take your favorite albums and have an acrylic box made for the album that is open on top so you can periodically change the album.
Paint bar and get some high stools with leather tops. Get a nice wine rack for the bar top, and a hanging glass rack for over the bar.
Ditch the dog poster! Too tacky.
Get some nice lamps...and drape cool textiles or scarfs over the lamp, ala Keith Richards (he does this in his hotel rooms).
And have fun decorating...you can do this on the cheap, if you have an IKEA near you, or Home Depot you can get things really cheap. If you have the time and energy, see what is underneath the carpet. If there is wood floor ask the land lord if you can rip the carpet up and refinish the floors.

The records are stuff that has been givin' to me over the years, I did not go seek Huey Lewis out and buy them! I can't paint the walls unfortunately, and rip the carpet up, that's the rules here, but lamps and scrafs, I can do, have no idea why I didn't think of Keith Richards! As for the lady posters, I have a g/f at the moment and it doesn't seem to bother her, which now that I think about it..............anyway, that room is the football, music, air hockey, sports room

Also I agree with whitem about the girl posters. If I was interested in a guy, walked into his place and he had those on the walls, his chances of sleeping with me would go down to 0%. Look at hot chicks in magazines or on the computer, not on your walls.
