....speaking of the Chesterfield Kings...two of the members of that band used to work at the legendary House of Guitars that was approximately three minutes up the street from my house....
it was at the House of Guitars during the later 1980's that Mick Taylor came into the store (he was in town for some music festival?) and he signed my vinyl copy of Get Yer Ya Yas Out...all of 20 people showed up for this "unofficially" advertised appearance by Mick Taylor and I watched Taylor sign a copy of SOME GIRLS by a Stones fan...Mick told him he didn't play on the album but the fan insisted that Taylor sign it anyway so he did....

BluzDude- thanks for posting this---I never knew that my brother's name (Mike Sigel) was posted in the name of sports figures who grew up in Rochester in this wikipedia article-
just an FYI- he is a world famous pool player who during the 1980's taught Tom Cruise how to shoot pool in the movie the Color of Money...
